OSHC (Out of school hours care)

Located within the school grounds of Old Noarlunga Primary School, our Old Noarlunga Primary School Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program provides a convenient and accessible option for families in need of quality care outside of regular school hours.

Our OSHC is a safe and stimulating environment that provides quality care and engaging activities. With a dedicated team of experienced staff, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where children can grow, learn, and have fun. Our program offers a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects, tailored to suit the interests and abilities of each child. We prioritise the well-being and safety of every student, ensuring they feel supported and valued throughout their time with us.

We encourage parents and guardians to actively participate in their child’s OSHC experience, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. At Old Noarlunga Primary School OSHC, we are committed to providing a caring and enriching environment that complements the school’s educational mission.

At Old Noarlunga Primary School OSHC, we understand the importance of healthy eating habits. As part of our service, we provide a nourishing breakfast and afternoon snack that adhere to our healthy eating guidelines. We believe that snack times should be more than just a meal – they should be social occasions where educators sit and interact with the children, serving as role models for good eating behaviours. Our approach involves engaging children in snack time preparations and procedures, allowing them to actively participate and learn essential life skills. Through these experiences, we aim to provide valuable opportunities for children to develop healthy habits and make informed choices about their nutrition.

Our program is designed to foster a sense of enjoyment and exploration for children. We follow the “My Time Our Place” Framework, which allows us to create a leisure-based program that is guided by the children’s interests and ideas. Our aim is to provide a diverse range of activities that cater to their individual preferences, promoting creativity, imagination, problem-solving, physical activity, and social and emotional growth. By encouraging children to actively participate and engage in activities that they find interesting, we strive to create an environment that supports their holistic development and fosters a love for learning.
